Everyone who went to Echuca for the club fly away enjoyed the event.
Great weather, great boat trip on the “Pevensey” paddle steamer. You may remember the same boat was used in the mini series “Where The Rivers Run”.
The club dinner at the American Hotel was well attended and a very enjoyable meal. Sunday saw quiet breakfasts at a number of venues and about half of our contingent were visiting the Holden museum.
The club Sonex flew over and back at the capable hands of Greg Tabe stopping only for a fuel top up in each direction. Pictures are on the web site. Around 150 aircraft attended altogether as the vintage aircraft had their fly in on the same weekend.
Thanks again to Steve Nelson for his work behind the scenes to make it such a successful event.
