It is with regret that we report the passing of Kevin Sedgman on the 24th of March.
Kevin had a long association with aviation, but particularly with gliding and home built aircraft. Amongst his many activities, he helped build the Adelaide Soaring Club (initially the Gliding and Soaring Club of South Australia) from its inception, was the first person to launch a glider by aerotow in South Australia, with Keith Jarvis built an Olympia sailplane and the Australite (later modified and renamed the Sunbird) light motorglider.
He was 93.
The funeral will be held on Thursday 27 March at Centennial Park – Mawson Chapel at 12:15.
