Over the last year our club has organised and run some interesting flying events, heard from a wide range of speakers, attended a number of workshop visits and enjoyed some social outings.

This year we would like to continue on the same theme and to do that we need members who are willing to contribute by standing for council.

Our March meeting is the AGM and due to a couple of retirements we need some new people to join the council and enjoy an extra meeting each month where the councillors, over a light meal, plan the club activities.

The club objectives are to Promote Sport and Recreational aviation by supporting and mentoring one another, whether it is building, flying or anything at all relating to aviation.

In any club there needs to be a steady input of fresh ideas to keep the club vibrant and active. I ask everyone to consider affording just eleven sociable evenings a year for council meetings. You may nominate yourself by contacting me on 0411196232 or cpmoore@internode.on.net or volunteering at the AGM, providing you have been a member for a year or more.

If you have not paid this year’s subscription in order to be a voting member, please send a cheque to Trevor Chapman (Ph 8386 1467) or if paying by direct funds transfer be sure to let him know the details, so he can trace the payment.

The first event this year is planned for the 16th and 17th of March and promises to be a great opportunity to display your aircraft and meet members of a 4WD club with similar ideals and enthusiasm.
