Good day to all Sport Aircraft Club Members,

Your club welcomes you all –  including new members and the stalwarts, to the first meeting of the year, to be held next week at the Lockley’s Bowling Club.

The club Sonex is still undergoing test flying and adjustment. We all look forward to members starting to enjoy flying and training in this much admired machine once the 25 hours have been flown as part of the flight test regime.

The club hanger has room for another small aircraft so if you know anyone interested in housing their aircraft at Murray Bridge please talk to me or any of the council members.

Plenty of great events speakers and workshop visits coming up this year. The first event being a trip to Echuca. Details on the club website and at the meeting next week get your name down early.

As mentioned in my last report we would like to see a few new persons putting their hand up to be on the council this year. This is your opportunity to provide your ideas for the advancement of the organisation and help with club operations. Please talk to any of the council members if your can manage an extra evening talking aviation once a month and are prepared to help with events on a few occasions during the year.
