Mr Gerhard Waibel, Glider design engineer, will speak on the developmental steps from wooden gliders to today’s high tech composite aircraft and will focus on the leading technology aspect of glider design, including the CONCORDIA.

Gerhard had a long career with Alexander Schleicher with many very successful competition designs well known to glider pilots.
