Cobham Aviation Services – Special Mission will be conducting SAR stores delivery training from the beginning of next week (27th June) until approximately the end of the first week of August.

Drop zones will be Sedan Airfield (YSEA) and overwater to the west of Wirrinna Cove. Over this period we will use the Sedan zone approximately 12 times and the Wirrinna area approximately 24 times.

The aircraft will be Challenger CL-604 VH-XNC. Drops will be made from 500ft overland and from as low as 200ft overwater.

Our pilots will be monitoring the appropriate centre frequency and, at Sedan, the multicomm frequency. We will clear the area for known traffic.
