In February and March we have seen a number of aviation events and club activities. The major club event being a fly in- the Beachport weekend, organised by Andre Mielke, where around 10 aircraft flew to Lake George and landed on the dry lake which is near Beachport in the South East of South Australia….

The last weekend in October the Sterling North Aero Club (just South of Port Augusta) hosted the Sport Aircraft Club weekend fly in. Aircraft began arriving from 10:00 am- not sure who arrived first.
