The recent vote by club members resulted in 95% approval for purchasing the clubs Sonex kit. Steve Nelson ordered the kit while he was at AirVenture this year. Virgin Galactic second powered test flight
Successful second powered test flight by Virgin Galactic today. Space Ship 2 released at 48,000 and achieves M1.43 while climbing to 69,000 feet with a 20 second burn. Wing feathering deployed for descent to 46,000. More details and video at Virgin Galactic
